With safety as the greatest importance, Scuba Ranger programs can only be conducted by well trained instructors in a pool (or under confined water conditions in a protected area) up to the depths of 4 metres or 12 feet. For depths greater than 1.50 metres or 5 feet, there is a 1:2 instructor-student ratio.

SSI instructors are only permitted to coach if they are connected with an SSI Facility. This concept, that is only one in the industry, grants straight monitoring of all active SSI Dive Professionals to maintain the highest quality education.

The Scuba Ranger instructors who teach children diving school courses had special training on how to teach diving specifically to children and have also been recognized as excellent divers by our strict SSI standards. Medical supplies are always at hand, the instructor-student ratio is always followed, and safety is utmost importance during Scuba Rangers sessions and club activities.
