Diving at Tenggol can be experienced all year round yet the best time to dive would be during the annual dry season which is from March to October. It is during this time that the visibility is at its best at up to 20 meters. In addition to that, whaleshark sightings have occurred in the months of September to October.
The island has more than 20 beautiful dives sites. With clear warm waters, this cozy little island hides a beautiful underwater world.The reefs around the island are home to many different species of marine life.
Tenggol was once described as the “Best Diving in Peninsular Malaysia” in Asian Diver Magazine. The rocky cliffs offer exciting dive sites and the fascinating coral reef architecture below is home to many of the world’s unique ocean species. For those looking for big fish encounters, Tenggol is along the whalesharks’ migratory route and are occasionally spotted between August to October.
